They're nice, but they need a little more attention to detail. And a couple of hours more 'in the oven'. Also, in the exterior, your verticals are a bit off.

      I'm nitpicking, really.

All verticals are 100% spot on... πŸ˜‰

I see no bevels, and the chimneys - for instance - just look like blocks. Also, the walls are a bit too plain. Some texturing would be nice. You know, to lend the surfaces some more variation. The table surface certainly looks too angular.

Either they're leaning to the right, or I'm leaning to the left.

I wonder, though. You used an unbiased method, right? If you're not "going overboard" on details, why not use a biased one? Should work just fine too.

Look, maybe it's just me, but I think parallel verticals would work better in this particular case. That's all. πŸ˜„

Great renders, I especially like the soft focus kitchen scene. πŸ‘

I agree that the Ellipse table is too angular... It's a FormFonts model, so...

And you're right about the missing bevels... To be honest I didn't think too much about it...

Maybe a couple of real photos will help..?! πŸ˜‰

That will be impossible, since all the trees are real 3D and the complexity of the scene is preventing me from using a biased method... πŸ˜‰

Regarding the verticals... I believe we just let it be - right... πŸ˜‰

Neither did I til I bought Maxwell. Can't go without them anymore now. That, of course, may be different for other people.

only crit would be the grass that appears to be somewhat flat ( could benefit from some photoshopping) and the repetitive plants in the exterior render...but that's just nitpicking...
what is the IOR of the glass ? ( I find it right for this scene and since I'm still searching my settings on this type of renders ...)

Yeah - I know what you mean...
It's actually 3D grass I'm experimenting with at the moment... πŸ˜‰

I used the Thin glass material from the basic pack... πŸ˜‰
