They're nice, but they need a little more attention to detail. And a couple of hours more 'in the oven'. Also, in the exterior, your verticals are a bit off. I'm nitpicking, really.

All verticals are 100% spot on... @unknownuser said: I'm nitpicking, really. Much appreciated...

I see no bevels, and the chimneys - for instance - just look like blocks. Also, the walls are a bit too plain. Some texturing would be nice. You know, to lend the surfaces some more variation. The table surface certainly looks too angular. @unknownuser said: Also, in the exterior, your verticals are a bit off. Eeehhhh... Can you elaborate..??
All verticals are 100% spot on...

Either they're leaning to the right, or I'm leaning to the left. I wonder, though. You used an unbiased method, right? If you're not "going overboard" on details, why not use a biased one? Should work just fine too.

Look, maybe it's just me, but I think parallel verticals would work better in this particular case. That's all.

Great renders, I especially like the soft focus kitchen scene.

Thanks for the nice comments, Pete, James and Pav...
Much appreciated..!! @unknownuser said: I see no bevels, and the chimneys - for instance - just look like blocks. Also, the walls are a bit too plain. Some texturing would be nice. And you're right about the missing bevels... To be honest I didn't think too much about it... Maybe a couple of real photos will help..?!

That will be impossible, since all the trees are real 3D and the complexity of the scene is preventing me from using a biased method... Regarding the verticals... I believe we just let it be - right...

@frederik said: And you're right about the missing bevels... To be honest I didn't think too much about it... Neither did I til I bought Maxwell. Can't go without them anymore now. That, of course, may be different for other people. @frederik said: @unknownuser said: I wonder, though. You used an unbiased method, right? nice renders...
I especially like the mood of the kitchen scene...
only crit would be the grass that appears to be somewhat flat ( could benefit from some photoshopping) and the repetitive plants in the exterior render...but that's just nitpicking...
what is the IOR of the glass ? ( I find it right for this scene and since I'm still searching my settings on this type of renders ...)

It's actually 3D grass I'm experimenting with at the moment... @nrevk niatpak said: what is the IOR of the glass ? I used the Thin glass material from the basic pack...
