        Tom,
that is the most rediculously awesome thing I have seen I think ever.. nicely done. Very Very cool. I might have to petition you to send me a full size image to print and hang.. well done my friend. Well done.

Tom, nice painterly effect. Many of your images would make fine book illustrations. Is this straight SketchUp-as you claim many of your recent renders to be?

Looks great. I'm usually not a fan of dark renders but this one works very well.

            Regards, Ross

Thanks guys (Shaun...but ask and ye shall receive). It really was a pretty standard DWC but I got a wild hair after I reduced it to post. Hit a duplicate "multiply" layer with the Caravaggio filter and kinda liked the idea of it for the grins I was after...maybe something to pursue?

Besides, I just had to use the "challenge" boabab in a model at least once (your turn now, Kris? :`) But I'm especially fond of the sky: actually two of them overlayed.

No Anssi, lots of filter work there; the straight SU (plus the sky, of course) is below...methinks you suspect otherwise?

                Best, Tom.

I can't believe it. I was trying to make baobabs in Onyx the other night. They are the coolest trees ever. Spooky render.

                    EDIT:
Here's a shot. Tom, I can post an .obj file in the components forum if want this goofy thing for futrure baobab imagery.
