really beautiful [particularly the first image]. my guess you use the noisy setting right. man if you fry it more passes, that image would be a very realistic one.

Thanks
You know me by now, If it takes more than an hour to render then forget it.

By the size of that grain I thought it was
Maxwell. By the way solo have you tried
the new V-Ray for SKETCHUP.I signed yesterday
and will be dowloading the 30 day trial version
as soon as I get some free time. I think there
is some potential in that in regards to speed
and quality. -
Mateo,
I downloaded the trial a few months ago and installed it, I read the (very well done) tutorial and then procrastinated to use it, the trial ended in no time and alas I have never tried it and cannot as I missed my chance.
Another view.

Looking good Pete!
Is the noise caused by the noisy settings or by the bump map used? -
-
I love how you got the mountains to reflect in the windows in the second one. Impressive.
(I have no idea how you did it, by the way)
-
ehaflett, I used a plane with image next to model so that glass could reflect.
Biebel, I changed the bump map and re-rendered allowed it to run 100 passes with SU sun enabled.
