Please consider Air, http://www.sitexgraphics.com/ , but also this rather comprehensive listing of Rendering tools and engines http://www.pointzero.nl/renderers/
Cheers,

Diego, does "AIR" handle SketchUp files natively, or do you need an exporter as with some of the other rendering applications?
-
Maybe you can try to explore this interesting concept

Oh Pilou, Mind/Concept-mapping software and presentations are great!

Any opinions on the following programs?
TRUESPACE 7.6

I liked the idea of this being locked w/o all the zillions of posts and notices of updates below. If we do lock it again, feel free to delete this post.

Okay, I added trueSpace. IDX Renditioner was already there.
Chis - do you thing this thread should be locked?
-
I though the idea was to have a single post at the top with all renderers. As someone wants to add a new one, it gets PM'ed to a Admin who then adds it to the list. Then there would not be a zillion posts like this underneath. Just a nice clean list. It doesn't have to be that way, its just what I was envisioning based on Coen's original post.

Ah, I see. Well, in any case, the first post is constantly updated (like now I did).

What is the best render to use in OS X?
Just recently convertet to OS X and don't want to switch over to XP to use V-Ray all the time I want to render something...
So what render is best for me? I am looking for something as good as V-Ray and not to difficult to use. Thanks in advance for the replies...

Hei Henrik,
Unfortunately there isn't many render applications available for Mac...
But from the list available for OS X, I obviously would recommend Kerkythea... -
Vray for Sketchup will have the mac version
