. . . more playing around . . .
-
Unfortunately, my vacation comes to an end - this might be my last fun with SketchUp for a while . . . more playing around with some simple shapes . . . I'll try to get some more play time soon . . . thanks for all the encouragement - thanks for being patient with me - I'm slow but I'm happy.

Thanks but you should see what professionals do - my stuff is very elementary, simple and downright embarrassing when compared to many others. Here's another super quick model - more of the same "boring" technique, but fun and fast . . .
-
I discovered a new way to do sweeping edges --> roof uses an inverted triangle with the Follow Me tool - I like the way the roof turned out: sloped and curved.
-
. . . last one tonight . . . (sound of me snoring) . . .
-
I am reminded of the pinewood derby I used to race.

Thanks but you should see what professionals do - my stuff is very elementary, simple and downright embarrassing when compared to many others.I've seen some pros at work. I also do some car designing, not on the level I'd like, but i'm not bad with 3D Studio with NURBS. Sketchup really isn't the best platform for car design, but it is one of the easiest to jump into and one of the easiest, if not the easiest to get a hang of...
Kind of a drag when i have to go back to Studio since studio is little more complex and redundant with its actions. You're doing well, and the edges are really nice

. . . today's quickie . . .

They are really cool, Brad. Maybe they won't ever look like real cars but believe me, you are just developing your special, own style everyone here seems to like and can be identified from a mile away...
-
. . . today's car - trying the drape tool (?) which is fun . . .
-
. . . don't like the roof but . . . another good learning experience I guess . . .
-
. . . thought I'd try something just a wee bit different . . .
-
. . . daily fix of SU . . .
-
. . . it's FRIDAY!!!
-
. . . more fiddling with today's vehicle . . .
