Green Toaster's Car Sketches

. . . again, nothing new - I really don't like either of these . . . yeah, it's definitely time to try something really different, I know . . . I'll post something fresh on Thursday - 'till then, these two will do . . .
Happy Sketching,
Brad

the green one is nice
-
Brad,
You have lots of imagination. I envy you.

Thanks ely862me & Guite.
Here's another very very fast SUV-like model . . . I know I said I was going to do something new & different - project n&d is on the back afterburner so this will have to do for now.
-
So, . . . someone challenged me to do a ten minute car (wheels & tires were done previously) . . . so . . . of course I had to accept - this is the result, again, nothing fancy or different, but I still enjoy doing the "same old thing" . . .
Happy sketching,
Brad
-
. . . forgot the wheel wells . . .
-
Here's an attempt at a steering linkage . . . I used to play around with R/C cars so, that's all I really know about steering - from memory - this is just something quick-n-easy to represent what might be some sort of steering for the front wheels for one of the 3 legged cars I did earlier . . .
Happy Sketching,
Brad
-
I just knew something wasn't right . . . I was getting ready to go for a bike ride when I had to go back and fix this . . . I think this is a more realistic steering mechanism . . . hopefully . . . ? . . .
-
What would steering linkage be without shocks?
-
. . . I can see this thing doing a wheelie . . . 282 hp . . .
-
Sometimes you just have to try something . . . I don't like the way the rear wheel turned out but it helps me imagine a solution that I believe will work . . . will have to do the new wheel tomorrow . . .
Happy Sketching,
Brad

. . . yet another SUV-like vehicle while at work today . . . as usual, just a very quick idea tossed out for giggles . . . . . .
-
Why do you make them some squarish, you have some nice ideas.

Interesting....carry carry on
-
. . . that's more like it . . . I think . . . . . .
-
I would like to see some of these concepts modelled properly(fully detailed and shaped) but i guess you have too many ideas popping in your head all at once for you to linger on one....
-
I'll be more than happy to make them available if there's any interest.
I'd really enjoy seeing what real, talented modelers can do with them.
If anyone wants some of them, or all of them, please let me know & I'll begin attaching them.

Well, this got me thinking a little, so I created this "marshmallow" car . . . it was detailed far beyond where this image indicates - the program crashed and I lost a lot of work.In any event, yes, I definitely need to explore "softer" models and add more complex, amorphic, clean shapes. Still having fun.
Happy Sketching,
Brad
