Is there a script or code snippet to remove all (or certain) attributes from a selected (could be nested) component to "dumb it down"?

            Hi Pixaro,

it helps if you target specific definition names, layer names or materials and you happen to know what you want to delete...

a lot are already in TNTDave's topics in the dev forum with others from TIG...

mine have mainly been created for IFC imports, but are few are for DC's...

if you send me a test file and a target list, I'll have a look for the most appropriate snippets I've made...

              Thanks for the links.
I think these are a bit too advanced for my needs this time.
I simply want to clear all attributes on a selected component (and nested components).
I kind of thought it was a one liner script.
