File signature for skp

Not sure if this is the right place to ask, but I am looking for the file signature for skp files. I need to recover some files from a reformatted drive and the recovery program does not (natively) find skp files. I have to add unknown file types manually and this includes their hex signature. For example dwg is 41 43 31 30. Anyone have any ideas? Somewhere else to look/ask?
A different recovery program recovered the files, but many of them say "Unexpected file format" when i try to open them (preview looks okay). Any fix for that instead of trying to use hex signatures to recover them with the new program?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
