Knocked this out last night. In the style of several pieces my parents owned when I was growing up. Has a quiet elegance I think. Model was pretty quick to do. Rendered in Twilight, 08 Exterior setting. Let it run for 200 passes. About 23 minutes.

On the original, do the doors roll out of the way, as on a rolltop desk?

Thanks David. Your correct the doors operate like a roll top desk. Only difference is they slide horizontal, operation and construction is basically the same. Surprisingly enough on the original pieces the doors slid real easy. They were pretty high quality stuff, solid teak. Wish I had them now. Chuck.
