Still building the critters. Caribou shoulder mount finished today.
SU2015 Pro, Artisan, Vertex Tools, Cuviloft, Shape Bender, Tools on Surface, Fredoscale and several other plug ins I'm probably forgetting. The antlers were a little tough on this one......

The modeling work is very cool but killing animals for trophy is not. Why don't you build the entire animal and forget the inference of slaughter?

Thought I'd post a hidden geometry shot if anyone was interested in seeing the mesh. Not going to respond to political comments about the model except to say they are being done for a client as part of a larger job. Thought they are good examples of organic models that can be done in SU. Guess if some find it offensive , don't look......

Hey thanks....I'll remember to close my eyes. I'd like to see you and your buddy mounted together and if that offends you then try not to look.

I have a hard enough time mastering cubes and rectangles, so organic forms are out of my league. But I do think the texture you used on the antlers is off. Looking at pictures online, the antlers should be more of a whitish gray color, and what little texture there is runs parallel with the length of the antler.

                My avatar is an anachronism.

Daniel, Agree with your comments about the textures. Still struggling with the u.v. mapping stuff. Thankfully all presentations are n.p.r. and I don't have to hit 100% accuracy in the textures. The assets are mainly about working out relationships in space. Also timelines can be tight. As for organics out of you league, I've seen enough of your posted models, you do excellent work. If you needed to do the organic stuff I'm sure you would figure it out.
