Child's table and chair
-

Here's a model of a child's furniture set, created by the noted Danish designer Hans Wegner in 1944. Wedges in through-tenons hold the table stretcher and legs together. The chair seat is notched to fit the sides in the front; at the rear, a fat peg keeps everything together. It is designed to be knocked down and flat-packed for shipment or storage. I saw the original for sale on the 1stdibs web site. Doing the model allowed me to work off all the turkey and stuffing I consumed at Thanksgiving.
