To move an object in x-direction and then in y-direction
-
Hi all,
I want to move an object in x-direction and then without rotating i want to move it in y-direction. Say like an 'L' movement, but without rotating at the corner. This cant be done with two pistons ofcourse. Can anyone please help me to solve this.
Thanks in advance

I am not into SketchyPhysics but you should place your object onto another object, then you put a slider for the extra object and slider for your object. You first move the extra object and then you move your object which will be related to the extra object.

I have provided an example. The top box and piston are first connected to each other and then made into a group. The bottom box is then attached to both the bottom piston and the top piston. This can get cumbersome but one can nest probably 5 deep to theoretically allow control of rotations as well as tranlations.
