Open Source METAL 3D Printer for under $1500!

Hi All,
Just came across details of an interesting development by MTU in 3D printing using metal. Its an Open Source project and I see a $1500 price tag for the finished DIY printer, not bad considering the cost of current metal 3D printers
So now no excuse for not building your own car
