French Tilt Top Table in Walnut
-

Here's a model I doodled out yesterday during the third half a Car Talk. It's based on a beautiful table made in France in the mid 1800s. -
Dave,
Very nice, as usual. With a rectangular top, the piece would make a fine drafting table. (But does anyone still use drafting tables?)

Thank you, David.
You're right about it being a drafting table but apparently they are somewhat passe'.

Nice model!

So Frenchies have re-discovered the wheel!

Watch out, Dave. They are liable to move your post to the French subforum and not tell you about it.

Excellent work as usual. I always like seeing your postings.

Thanks Tim.
Move it to the French forum? Oh, heavens!

Maybe I need to change the title so that doesn't happen.

-
Then they'll move it to the Nut forum.
-

Might not be too far wrong.

Walnuts, wing nuts, dough nuts,...

Ever since waxing became popular Brazil nuts terrify me!

I guess with a bit of modification it could be made to do double duty.

I'm sure there is a plugin for throwing the knives.
Possibly only available for version 6

I don't think that was a serious question, though.
