Hey Pilou! Jean-Franco, thanks a lot to all of you, I really appreciate!
Soapskin is less predictaable for me right now since I never really used it so far.
Same for Ferrari. But Jeez! It's good to be back on this forum!

If it's not in V6, audience will be very few!
And maybe with a simple Follow me it's possible to make something?

I think I didn't get that one...

It's gotta be more complex than what I eventually did I think. But it's gotta be possible!
By the way, I think you may have had this question before but I never looked for an answer for I lack potential uses of this technique but how do you do your colorful patterns? This definately makes your images pop. I think it's called style!

Colors are made directly inside Sketchup with the astonished New Age Peace and Love pluging
"Random Painter" by the funky rocker Chris Fullmer!
My hero!
Have fun with it!PS

Yes, you have not but you can "save as V6" with last version that you use!
Very useful today when there are so many users' versions working in the same time!
V6, V7, V8, 2013 ...and future!
Some free or pro versions have many advantages that other have not!
Or new versions not installed!
My favoriste it the V6 ...so thanks by advance for the next time for other users...and me to save as V6! -
Thanks a lot! It really helps me a lot.
Box, I think it took me 3 minutes after I saw your wireframe to come up with something decent:
Just drew 3 lines and converted them to a classic Bezier (another French guy isn't it? ) curve, rotated/copy this curve 90 degrees, added 2 arcs with the arc tool and let Curviloft do the rest (What would I do without you Fredo6? (Could it be another French guy??? !)).
Here's the .skp in case someone would need it.

Thanks for the Random Painter plug-in!
I think Chris Fullmer actually is a super hero and he makes great watercolours too!
I updated my post with a v6 skp! Got it!

See with attention my second image, it's a part of your file -

Nice!
I get the tools on surface part pretty well but maybe you could share the steps you used to do this in Soapskin? Just to let me (and the other forum users too) know!
Thanks a lot for this already !

The doc is perfect but sometimes it's good to see how people are using such and such tools to achieve such result!
But the doc is perfect!

You have also "Color by Z" by Chris Fullmer or "Color By" (more possibilities) By Sdmich
My 2 heroes! -
Very very late to answer...
If "you're French and you're proud", just use a french plugin from one of the best french architectural tensile company : Ferrari sketch
The difference with Soap Skin & Bubble is the skin is linked to the vertex, not to border lines, so you dont have to draw hypothtic border.
The problem is still the top in the center of the tensile... -

Cool there is again free access to the "How to"!

Ferrari Sketch is looking awesome. I need to find a little time to learn how to use it...
Thanks a lot for all your answers!
