      Hi guys,

I am trying to become a freelance visualiser for small architectural practices and the work is starting to demand a more powerful machine to process the work (currently working around Bugsplats galore)!

I would like to either buy, or build my own computer specifically for rendering, but don't know where to start. Bearing in mind it needs to be compatible with Vray 2.0 for Sketchup 2013 running on Windows 7.

Does anyone have any experience of this kind of thing, and could give some pointers?

      Cheers

      Jack

        Hi Jack,

I'm very happy with a custom-built computer I got from a company called JNCS. They're out of Syracuse, NY, and they gave me the most bang for the buck. The guys on this Sketchup forum were instrumental in setting up a good system. Here is the link for the thread:

Here is the link to the JNCS website:

They're a helpful bunch and a small business, so you'll get a lot of personal attention on how to customize your system.

        Hope this helps!

        Frank
