I am VERY new to SketchyPhysics. It took me an entire day to make an object slide. I don't even need to make anything rotate....(yet) My problem is that I can't figure out how to record the animation and play it back. There are NO helpful videos anywhere on the net. Can someone PLEASE give me some step by step instructions on recording a VERY simple video. Litterally, making an object slide back and forth. That's it. Thank you.

        Hi, GELH:
I am not a user but you might want to look at this tutorial. Has fundamentals.
        http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VCWz2zjCd-M

You may want to get an external "recorder", but Sketchyreplay was mentioned in another example and the postings below the vid. see this one http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aiMNoSVLF9g

See if any of that helps.

EDIT ps I used google search with keyword phrases "sketchyphysics record animation" and "sketchyphysics animation tutorial" and found the two links above. read the comments below each vid for other info.

I take the slow, deliberate approach in my aimless wandering.

I have seen both of those videos. Not what I'm looking for. Isn't there ANYONE out there that can give me step by step instructions on how to record my animations?

We can try. http://camstudio.org/ is one place you can get a screen sucker. If that doesn't work check back and we can see what we can do.
