A classic kitchen that I made quite some time ago, rendered in a new light

All nice. Beautiful sunlight on the floor (a wood stool there would make it even more interesting. No use for the plant myself. Wonderful light and clean render!

          Real nice & clean work.
I would like to see some color somewhere, maybe the light glass.
          Real nice!

            Thanks for the comments!

I used the plant to fill out the void on the left side of the image and to bring some foreground element to add some depth to the image, but I couldn't really make it work that well as planned. A stool would be a good idea then.

I don't know about adding more color. To me it seems that there is almost too much already, or just still not balanced enough.

Your render is superb but I have to agree with Peter about the plant , seems out of place...

The plant is too photographic, and the rest of the image has a nice graphic feeling.
But great image overall, it has a beautiful and inviting mood.
                Congrats!

Speaker, which rendering engine do you use? Maxwell?

Yeah. That's Maxwell studio. The render time was about 7h.
I'll fix some of the problems and render out a bigger version a bit later.

The colors and shadows are really good. I wonder sometimes how the rendering is actually done internally. Posing and posting more natural colors can become tricky with each level of complexity added to the objects. Kitchen objects though plain & simple can be hard to objectify virtually. 👍
