Hi everyone! I started using Sketchup about 3 weeks ago. Really fun!

Now I found the SketchyPhysics plugin. Even better!

Can anyone show or refer me to a post/video demonstrating how to use the more advanced joints like "Universal Joint" - "Gyro" - "Corkscrew" etc?

      Thx!

      😄

I hate to see these posts to Sketchy Physics go unanswered as it is a plugin that while breaking the rules a bit does have some good bones. The link below might get you started. Much of the complexity that comes out of joints is done by the order of attaching and grouping which I am not sure is covered on this site. I'll look around for some more how to videos but you might best progress by downloading some models from the warehouse and doing some sketchy physics reverse engineering. Best of Luck.

          Thx mptak!
Yes, I have download some and reversed engineering. It really helped.
I find a lot of this is trial and error. Love puzzles. : )

          This really helped: https://sites.google.com/site/sketchyphysicstutorial/

The car tutorial, put things into perspective.
Once you know how it's easy. I just figured out how to make a table turn that supports a controlled seesaw. Huge personal satisfaction!
