I can also highly recommend SimLab composer...!
I'm only using a fraction of what the application is capable of... Mostly import of various 3D file formats, where I previously had to use Deep Exploration...
So far I haven't come across a 3rd party model in a format, which SimLab Composer wasn't able to handle for me...It's really easy to import a model in i.e. FBX, STEP, IGES or other formats and then save the file in SketchUp format...
Likewise it's equally easy to export to 3dPDF or other formats... -
And they have now their own render engine and not more Luxion!
