Any smokers here? Wanna quit?
-
5months off da smokes now, just taught I'd drop by to let ye all know how I'm doing, cutting down on nicotine dosage too, if I can do it anyone can do it, keep it up folks
-
Well done iichiversii .
Same goes here: If I can do it anyone canIt's remarkable how easy it felt to not smoke.
Sure, the first days I kind of felt 'something' was missing, but when I took a little vaping toot when the thought occurred, the urge for a cigarette was easily gone.Whenever I see someone smoking I now think :'they will find out sooner or later"
And yes, the health benefits are there: my energy on the squash courts increased a lot.
I still get tired, but I have a second breath, a third... it totally rocks!Keep on vaping ! (hopefully the FDA will not ban the on-line sales as it would ripple effect all over the world)

A new experience: dripping.
The best vape so far.
Flavour X10, cloud X10 compared to any clearomizer or vivi nova styled atomizer.
And it consumes less e-juice.
The dripping atomizer just costed me 4 dollars, best vaping buck spent so far.Only downside: now I have to learn to rebuild it's coil he he

So do you just drip liquid down the drip tip? How long does it last between adding some more drips?
I forgot to mention the previous photo of your kit has a lovely composition.
You're fast becoming the Vape Master! Or perhaps Darth Vaper!
-
Good for you guys! I hope this vape thing stays free and open, while being proven safe and consumers are protected. A fine line to tread.

Thanks Oliver, indeed bitten by the bug
Dripping is very easy. Just remove (pull) the drip tip off (I got a masculin pink one ) and 'drip'a couple of drips in there.
The drippping atomiser in the picture is a small one. It hold about 6-9 drops, and is good for about 5-10 minutes of vaping.
It's like having a cigarette , you vape it till it is gone.
Dripping is hassle free, the only thing that makes it more of 'doing-at-home' thing, is that it would leak if you store your PV horizontally.
Best to have an e-cig/mod stand of some sort. -
A little customization of the MVP to keep things fun .
Also my new dripper the IGO-L with a coil I built myself...still learning -
Looks awesome! I'm all for the customisation. How many days does that beast last before you have to recharge?
I'm seriously considering a box mod like that, I have to change my 18350 batteries every couple of hours!
Your setup is looking closer and closer to a Kayfun, I think you should take the plunge and get one!
Today I'm gonna buy some more flavour concentrates and nicotine liquid for my DIY liquids. Still using Juicy Fruit as my daily vape flavour, but looking to try a new blueberry, energy drink and perhaps a banana .
If nobody else has tried making your own e-liquid I highly recommend it. It must be 4 times cheaper than buying premixed liquid. I bought my mixing supplies back in June and have only just ran out! The only thing I've had to buy in between are new flavour concentrates to try out.
-
Look what I just ordered!! Been looking for a big battery device for a while and this Innokin Itaste MVP V2 seems to tick all the boxes. Plus I got jealous of biebel's setup! Will be using this with my Kayfun 3.1 when at home. The battery should last 3-4 times longer than my provari mini.
I also included the liquids I buy for DIY.
PG based nicotine 250ml (photograph shows VG based):
250ml VG:
250ml PG:
De-ionised water to dilute, can be bought from halfords, or any automotive shop:
Finally a selection of flavour concentrates: Juicy Fruit, Banana Cream, HS Silky (silk cut) and Bubblegum. I've not tried Bubblegum or Banana Cream yet. Juicy Fruit is my all-day vape.
-
I'm glad to see the liquids are Kosher, I've been most concerned about that, can you get halal ones as well?
I'm somewhat frightened of this image, can't work out if it is used condom or bleached butt flavour.
-
If that's what a used condom looks like, you better get yourself checked out!!
-
Just back from the clinic, they tell me the shots should sort it out.

I wondered when it would descend into this!
less than a day....
i am surprised it even took that long....!!
...anyhow, good topic Oli
I'll look for them in Oz. It's time I gave up smoking too.
-
Great to see you on board Gareth! Good luck, we're all here to help if you have any questions.
I recommend an EVOD BCC for your first E-Cig. Easy to use, cheap and reliable. You will find it quite difficult to pick up a cigarette after enjoying a good vape!
Let us all know how you get on.
Update on my iTaste MVP V2 box mod...
Great so far. Really easy to use, excellent build quality. The battery has lasted over a day without charging!! Normally I would change my battery 3-4 times a day! Such a relief.
It's quite a large setup so not something I would take out in public, looks like a walkie talkie . But for a device to keep at home or on long trips it's ideal and definitely a keeper.
-
Kwistenbiebel, you mention you are living in Western Australia now....I am in Adelaide
Do you buy yours over the internet, or are there some shops where you can purchase them from ?
-
My collection is growing!!
Provari Mini, EVOD BCC, Kayfun 3.1 and Innokin MVP V2.

Looks a bit different from yours Oli.
AU$195......I have no idea if that's a good price or not.
That's right, I have a normal Provari, awesome vape, cannot go wrong there.

It's not different from mine it just has a different atomizer head. The price is normal, but I find it very expensive for what you actually get.
The provari mini is a nice size but with bigger atomizers the battery only lasts a couple of hours. Build quality really is excellent though. I would recommend getting the normal size Provari (like Pete's) over the mini purely for extra battery life.
The starter kits are OK but you will quickly start looking for something better. If you are looking for a starter kit I recommend the EVOD BCC over the Ego atomizer, so you will need to find another website if you want a good starter setup.
It all depends how much you want to spend of course...if you want to spend more we can point you towards some higher end setups. What budget you looking at?
Hope things are still going well for you Pete.

Hiya Oli,
Money isn't the dealbreaker really, something reliable and of good quality is though. And getting everything I need all at once is also important.
And I am getting a little confused when I see words like atomiser, cartomiser and clearomiser...!! Some of the deals i read say these are extras...which is even more confusing.
I'll get there in the end....but need to be active about this while I am still keen.
