no go on the street view background? it definitely comes in very handy... I guess I should have washed them out a bit more.

two of the buildings were actually taken from google earth and the quality is marginally better.. a couple of those backgrounds ended up being extremely rushed too πŸ˜•

Funny, I just used a street view shot in rendering the other day. It worked, in my opinion. I hadn't considered the view until the design opened up--then there was no photo and no time to go get one. It made more sense to have the building in the background rather than some generic backdrop. And I think these work fine for what you are doing. Only so much time and money is warranted.

I usually get the massing from street view and investigate the surrounding area. Then i re-texture them very basically. Of course having context in any form is really the key here. My pet hate is a floating isolated building.

Wow mate, you knocked out a weeks work in hours!!!!!

I actually quite like the design besides your work itself! NICE work!!!! πŸ‘

I'd reckon on some breakup of the materials to the rear but REALLY liking the street facing facades!

Thanks Richard.. Agreed on the rears, especially since they're so visible from the street.

I knocked out the interiors over the last few days... Thea for SketchUp and pshop for these.. These aren't really in any kind of order... they start with the main living area, then up to the 4th floor (no views of third floor.. all bedrooms), and then entry/first floor.

i really like your interiors but somehow the persons you added look like they don't really live there. They give the impression like they are on a visit and wait for something. Do you know what i mean? Like they visit the house for buying a flat there and wait for the estate agent.

ha..yeah, i guess i'd have to agree with you there, Carloh. I do need to obtain some better people (I accept donations). The reality is that alot of these clients are young guys...and they respond well to hot girls in their images and it does help sell the project.
