F-SIM Shuttle
Flight sim
β¬2,99
This app is fantastic, after watching nasa land another probe on mars I couldn't help myself becoming fascinated with rockets, shuttles etc, so I took a chance with buying this flight sim for the shuttle, Now it doesn't do launch missions but what it does is the shuttle is just after carrying out re-entry and you take over and must land the shuttle using the HUD and a voice from Huston that helps along, that's it really, but it has every scenario to throw at you, time of day or night, weather conditions, atmosphic tempeture, visability, system failures and 2 airbases to land on, you can randomise these or you can choose the settings if you want to challenge yourself, I will say its had to put down and the satisfaction you get from watching the replay of a successful landing is worth it, only issue is you can't save the replay or share it which would be a nice touch.
If you purchase this I'm sure you will enjoy it, something to do when there's nothing to do, lol, let us know what you think

Its really hard to do barrel rolls, the shuttle isn't very acrobatic! This is my new best friend on the bus to work.
Strange - in the game the HUD is transparent but when you take a screenshot it turns solid black?
-
Glad you like it Liam, iv being challenging myself when ever i get a chance, managed a barrel roll just before landing but i didnt get extra points, like i said its a shame you cant share or save the videos of the replays, they are fantastic to watch, i downloaded the spacewalk app they have but im still not getting anywhere with it,extremely difficult getting out of a controlled spin, lol but again the graphics are amazing

Astronaut spacewalk
Space walk sim
β¬2,99
Whow this guy is impressing the hell out of me, if you like landing the shuttle your really gonna love this spacewalk sim, at first it was very difficult to grasp but once you get around what the buttons actually do this game is fantastic, graphics are amazing and the concentration you put into this will ingross you into a virtual sim which you will find extremely hard to put down, the best way I can discribe this game is like an interactive puzzle, in space there is no friction so each action has an equal and opposite reaction, in a but she'll if you thrust right the astronaut will keep moving right until you counteract by thrusting left, highly frustrating at first but highly addictive, this guy should be working for NASA with these sims, iv also noticed he's working on another sim involving the ISS (international space station) I know I'll be purchasing it.
Liam try playing this on the bus, I highly recommend
Here's a link to some clips, seriously check it out, the UI isn't that difficult once you play around with it http://toucharcade.com/2012/06/27/check-it-out-astronaut-spacewalk/

Yes its a great little fun app. I have worked with them a few times, here was the last time about a month ago for Vogue Magazine. When you point the phone/device at the cover of the magazine it shows you a preview video of whats inside.

Nice work Liam, iv seen a few examples over the net, have you tried using it with 3D models, iv being playing around with it the past few days and it's very useful.
