        Charles Benton. Kite Aerial Photography Long time ago I found this guys' work: http://arch.ced.berkeley.edu/kap/kaptoc.html. He's been at it for years.

        He collaborated in research on early 3D recording of buildings: http://arch.ced.berkeley.edu/kap/background/Campanile/sather1.htm

        Unfortunately the UC Berkeley links on the project seem to be removed and I don't think the KAP site itself is actively managed any longer.
