Am I the only one?

Just curious here I am the only one on this forum using SketchyPhysics?
Most of the time I post an issue, or ask a question. I get lots of views, and very few, if any replies.Anyone there?

I have used SP on one project. I don't have a need for it in my daily workflow, and I am by no means an expert. I owe most (all?) of my success with SP to users on this forum who held my hand and wrote/edited code to help make my models do what I needed them to do. There are a few very talented physics modelers here, though I think many of us fall into the category of "SketchyPhysics is really cool, but I don't really need it for what I do." That's my perception anyway.

It does appear that the Sketchy Physics posts have fallen off a bit; I think there is another forum that has emerged on the web perhaps. Sketchy Physics remains an important tool if only for bringing students into a world where they can visualize their mathematics albeit in a not perfect modeling engine. Perhaps many of us are just waiting for Chris Phillips to regain some coding steam to take us all further along the journey.

I use SketchyPhysics whenever I can. I find it to be a great enhancement to the modeling capabilities of SketchUp. I sometimes need to make up promotional videos to show some of our department's projects, and SketchUp with SP lets me highlight certain functions of the machines that cannot be captured in video while the machine is functioning.
That being said, I haven't been using SP much lately, having been given a different assignment.
Sometimes I don't respond to posts in this section of the forum because I don't have an answer, but when I do, I make sure to contribute. I hope to be able to give back to the community here that has been of such great help to me in the past.

I looked around last night, as far as SP goes, this forum is all there is. Perhaps those of us who use it, should populate the 3D warehouse with working SP models, and while we are at it populate You-Tube with videos of working SP model. I have a few on You-Tube, but there needs more new ones.

OK, I will if you will.
Should we agree on a keyword tag for this initiative?
Maybe SketchyPhysicsPromo -
SketchyPhysicsPromo works for me, add in SketchyPhysics, and Sketchup (since that latter is the basis for the other things)So we have SketchyPhysicsPromo, SketchyPhysics, Sketchup.
That way when other folks key in one of the other terms, perhaps the other two will appear. -
I occasionally use sketchyphysics too. I added the suggested tags to my SP models in 3D warehouse.
But I disable it as soon as I am done physics modeling, because it negatively interacts a with a bunch of plugins including getting terrain from google earth. I disable vray for some other negative interactions too.
