Okay, this is my last attempt (I've been auto-logged out every time and lost everything), so here goes... Here is my most recent distraction from my work.
      Villa Pic 04.png
It turned out rather nice unexpectedly (to me) as I've never tried designing a Villa from scratch before (or any villa for that matter:)). All the furniture is my design (from my furniture archive and some on the spot when needed), and if anyone would like to see them closer than bird's eye, go ahead and ask and I'd be more than happy to share (I'll be posting a furniture pile a bit later when I have internet at home again next month)

I know that the lighting effects leave plenty to be desired, but I assure you this is progress compared to all my previous attempts. Aside from the novice lighting effects, if anyone sees any errors or has some constructive criticism please go right ahead. This is my hobby and I'd love any notes you're willing to share. Thank you for viewing and have a wonderful week.

I actually like the flat trees in this context. You have created a style.

I agree with Roger; the style of the first rendering is very nice.

Have a few planning remarks: 1) the route from the kitchen to the dining room is rather circuitous. Whoever has to carry the Thanksgiving turkey from the oven to the table will not like you. 2) The bathrooms seem a bit tight, especially around the toilet in the master bath. Besides physical comfort, it aint fun trying to clean behind a toilet only a few inches from the wall. It's also a good idea to have storage in a bathroom for linens, tissue, etc.

          My avatar is an anachronism.

Thank you very much everyone and Daniel, I'll get on it with moving things around a bit and adding some more storage in certain spots-- I was meaning to use those empty wall spots for some, but the bathroom completely eluded me so thank you kindly for that note.

As far as the cramped areas, my goal here (aside from making a nice looking home without any formal design education πŸ˜„) was to make a villa which was very small and yet quite nice.. the second floor was not in my orriginal plan believe it or not.

One of these days I'll get my Gondolin project a bit further along, but alas, my current real-work load is a bit intrusive to my SU hobby. Some day I'll have time again. Have a good one y'all.
