5.9 Earthquake in Virginia

I thought I felt something odd at our office yesterday afternoon. Kind of like a large truck moving through the alley behind our building of which my office backs up to. However the alley has been blocked off for years.
This was before I heard news of the quake. I am in North Alabama so if that was what I felt I am amazed. Maybe this video shows that I actually felt it. Dunno???

Seriously though, the National Cathedral took a bad hit. It has been closed indefinitely.

I watched this video and I'm confused with you spreading it. There is a scene where they are showing Spain revolution in a wrong way.
Personally I left this comment:
The World is not an illusion. Love is not abstract thing. Family is not mentioned here at all. You Love? Who? Everything you do reflects on eternity, it is not erased by becoming one. I don't like this nirvana thing "Don't change the World, just except it". It is more like take the blue pill. This is shallowly made religion, science and everything else Hollywood mix. Dangerous for empty young people without the support in love of their parents, their people and faith. Easy to fill.And its very depressing to make humans so simple. We are all different with "ALL" , black, white, good, evil and millions colors between in our souls, fighting all the time. And that is life! For looking in yourself, I suggest Fyodor Mikhaylovich Dostoyevskyi instead of this. He is original Orthodox thinker, and they tried to put some of Orthodox ides here, but in a very shallow and wrong way.

I don´t have to forgive you srx, not at all. I did not noticed the Spain´s movement missunderstanding. It looked interesting to me for it talks about the Mayan calendar and how things are speeding up. I don´t think it gives a bad message. It explains how the coming-end times can be and it is amazing how all the pieces of the puzzle joins. I hear at the end of the film something about hollywood, maybe it is a production from them.
But in any case here are we dealing with an unhuman state of the things, watching how people in power destroys Lybia and prepares the countries for the worse tightening their leads. The economic system is falling and nature´s hits hard and we all know it and we can do little things about it. So it is fair enough for me to think that the Mayan´s predictions and the Christians and Muslims too about how the world we know ,must finish, to enter the new one has got a good chance to be now.
That is why i talk about it and i am glad you did.
Of course i agree with you that human is not so simple as how it is described at the end of the times in this film and that Love is not an abstract thing, though i do not see so abstract in the film.
But i do not agree with you that life is a fight all the time and that that is how life is neither that we are ALL different.
I think that although we see ourselves as different is just a matter of Culture. How do you see this ?

it is quite interestingI was joking. There have always been predictions of the End Times at each millenia, after natural disasters, or any other event some person decides is fortuitous. The Mayan calendar prediction may be interesting, from a purely academic viewpoint, but I hold no faith in any doomsday predictions. Should the world end, whether through Divine intervention or cataclysmic natural disasters, I doubt we will have any fore knowledge of it.
