Sliding Pivot Joint not working

Hi Have just downloaded sketchyphysics yesterday, so very new.
I'm trying to get the attached joint working and appreciate any advice. It is two pivoting arms, joined by a pin and slot.
As you can see by the file, it is not working as desired. The pin should stay in the slot and slide when the arms pivot.
Thanks in advance for any suggestions.

Changed it so it now works but explaining all the IF's and BUT's is best done by the tutorial and wiki.

Is there a way to make objects more solid? Ie I notice if i increase the rotation of the servo I can pull the pin through the sides of th slot. Is there a wsy to change this, so that one object can not pass through another? (without creating a "frozen" object?
