Just checked the clicks on that ad. It seems that lots of clicks came from Italy and Denmark.

Ah well, I missed this (although have heard bout it ever since).
They probably wanted to please Mike (this was the very first ad they organised for SCF and seems to be successful at least in two countries!)

Not easy to control but unfortunatly the forums reputation takes a hit each time this happens and the advertisers with good products start to look twice, I am sure. It will eventually start to feel like the "appstore", the odd good app surrounded by a desert of trash that you must plod through to get to the oasis. I think that it is verging on going too far. The forum, through the good work of owners organizers and faithful members has grown into a treasure chest. That value is now being exploited to the max by sketchucation. Sorry guys...I'd work on making your revenue persuits a little more subtle at least.
