      Hi Guys,

I think many of you will remember seeing Photosynth mentioned here on SCF some time ago. Well I have come across the app again this evening and have downloaded it to the iPhone, its free!

While I am very impressed with the ease of use and it ability. I was not too keen on being stuck with having to sign up for a Windows Live account to be able to 'share' the great panos it creates! However I did so as I thought it was worth the effort.

I can see some practical uses for this app, stitching difficult to picture facades together that do not allow the photographer to get a clear overall shot of. I imagine taking screen grabs on the Photosynth site will prove to be a useful alternative.

      The link is, http://photosynth.net/default.aspx

      Mike

PS: I read more .... there is the ability to upload pics from a digital camera but its Win only πŸ˜’
