Big Joints
-
I am trying to use sketchyphysics joints and when I place a joint it is very big ...bigger than the object I am attaching to. How do I make the joint smaller in place without its center position changing?

the main reason for this is your model is small. (but it hasnt stopped people in the past)
somethings you can do are:
-
make your whole model bigger, so the join size doesnt change.
-
use the scale tool to scale downt he joint and then replace it back to its position (you may want to make a small mark of where the center position was before hand)

I think its better for the Physics Simulation to make the model bigger.
Cause one "hinge" joint is about 8,28" or 21,04cm in diameter, so its fairly small from the beginning.
And its easier to do the model bigger from beginning than scale down all joints.
That is what I think.

yeah thats what i would do. its better to make the model bigger.

Thanks for the suggestions. I was wondering how to use the scale tool so the centre position stays in the same spot. Same for circles. The way I have been doing it always seems to move the object from its centre position.
