Incredible Cross Sections: Airliner
-
well the kerk file has no risen to 480MB (46MB in SU) my little macbook pro is having problems editing it in SU so im taking it to a maters house and installing it on his overclocked mega PC hopefully ill be able to get some faster renders from that wish me luck!!!!
-
started fleshing out the wings and new hinge nose.
-
Looking good. Making it supersonic was a good idea.
-
yeah the other idea was too bulky, hopefully when its painted up in a nice british airways scheme it will be a nice tribute to Concorde.
-
bit more start with the interior soon!
-
Really awesome Liam very well done, minor crit Concord Tribute "designed by Boeing?????..I don't think so ....
But very impressive well done -
Yeah when I say tribute I just meant looks-wise, didnt mean another anglo-french build.
Well as you can see from the start everything is subject to change anyway! -
Started to fill in the interior, the economy seats now with more room, overhead lockers, three staircases, three galleys and 6 upper deck toilets.
-
Was getting a bit messy so decided to go and model each section yet again and break them up into components. Ive now constructed quite a few so now I can put the model together like lego. Ive split it up into two types, the fuselage components and interior components. I can basically switch and swap and interchange into any variation, is a lot faster now.
Here are all the components so far:
-
WOW amazing work... I love it
-
Hate to bump this, but did you ever finish this one?
-
It is amazing, isn't it?
-
haha well I never finished it as I intended but I got pretty far. I actually got stuck and didnt know what I wanted to do with it model wise. I think im just waiting on a better renderer this was my most advanced result: http://liam887.files.wordpress.com/2010/07/tail-section92.jpg
However before i stopped working on it, I went back to remodel everything again into smaller components and made a building set so now if I ever want to rebuild it again it would be super quick. -
Aww, you got so far in it... Nice work, very technical. Like something you'd see in the owner's manual or something.
-
Impressive stuff, Thank You!
