Just goofing off

Got bored and thought I would share something here.In no way does this come close to some of the stuff I've seen on this forum but thanks to this forum and it's members I'm learning something new about SU almost every day, so thanks to everyone! Plus I love this song and what better way to let people hear it?[flash=600,600:14ekhx5s]http://www.youtube.com/v/E-S6zpbbXfE&hl=en_US&fs=1[/flash:14ekhx5s]

Cool sound and sketchy detailed presentation

Nice detail!
I would sugest you to keep the source aspect ratio when rendering the video to lose the black bars(or in this case white bars at the top and the bottom. When I'm making a video I usually try to make the viewport at a 16:9 aspect ratio, so I wouldn't have to crop something off later. I think there even was a plugin to do this.

Hey thanks Speaker,I checked out some of your work and it proves my point I'm just an infant when it comes to working with SU and making little movies but dang its fun and rewarding when you're done even though some may even thinks it sucks.I made this with SU scenes and Camtasia Studio so I'm not sure what you meant about using a plug-in but I'm sure there are thousands of ways to do it I guess. If you don't mind telling, what do you use to make your videos? I'm really am AutoCad man and just started messing with SU for fun and thats what it is, alot of fun! Thanks again

Cool stuff! I like the steel building work. This is like a teaser. I'd like to see more in each project. For example: the steel roof connectors, the steel roofing component and its application, The small steel building with the high pitch roof, that tree component, working-out the roof angles (apparently with demonstration)....Impressive work. Thanks.

Thanks pdacot, like I said though most all this was done just playing around in Sketchup. The stuff I did with working out the roof angels were for some friends of mine that I worked with in the drafting office at the time. They were having trouble seeing and understanding how to calculate valley and hip flashing degs so I drew a simple drawing to give them a little step by step to help them along their way.

I was talking about a plugin that allows you to specify the viewport resolution in SketchUp.
