Render this: Mad science
-
Wow Solo that last image is brilliant.
I hope I ge to get in on this one it really looks like fun. -
That a Thea image, Pete?
-
Yes.
-
Biased/unbiased? Resolution? Render time? Er, not much time yet to play with Thea. Trying to get my fix by proxy, I guess.
-
Unbiased TR1, 2hrs, 1720 x 800
-
nice cant wait to get back into 3D!
-
-
way to go Pete. once again you've made it ridiculous for me to even try.
-
Is that a hairless rat Pete?, or should I say a "furless" one hint hint? I think another render is in order
-
Mad scientist indeed
-
all that is missing is the fur plugin applied to the rat
that is a awesome render and i'll be sure to give it a go -
By BWS ( an astonished artist)
-
Nice!!
That plasma ball is postpro? -
Great one Pete! Power render! Im really jealous! although the rat needs fur! only joking!
great choice of hdri
-
Great render!
I would say the plasma emitters were as difficult as the fur when realism is concern.
Nailing both would be a huge bonus. -
My first modest approach... (is a quick render with low presets in kerkythea)
I have to do something with that brain. I don't know how to texture it.
Some hints, please???
I'm still working o textures and lights, but maybe I'll keep the point of view. I guess I'll skip the plasma ball, lol. Looks hard to texture/model or whatever I have to do to render those lights. -
Okay...got fur, and lava.
-
Good start Karina, I don't like just the syringe so close to the camera (too much distorted and seems out of scale)...the rest promises very good!
Pete... no words, you're a Master! -
i was joking about the fur.....but OK!
this version looks much more refined.
so you modeled the back wall and used hdri for lighting this time? or is everything modeled? windows etc. i really cant tell these days!
-
The plasma is pretty lame still, and I really need some material re-work, but I though I'd throw my hat in the ring.
