House on the beach
-
hi, it is a render for a treddi.com's challenge
sketchup + 3ds Max + photoshop... hope you like it, C&C are welcome!
-
that's big sky country.
very, very nice!
-
That's a nice one. Looks very good.
-
very nice, the water looks amazing !!

Wow, thats pretty spectacular
One crit: a bit more variation in the colour of the sand would be good.
-
And remus is right about the sand texture. -
I hope the piles are good and long.
Nice render!
-
Looks awesome! Sand looks a lot like snow, but other than that, the water is spectacular! Is that Mental Ray and the "lume" shader for the water? Displacement also looks great on the stone for the house! Nice work.
-
tnx a lot for the comments... I'll try to make sand more wavy!
@ EarthMover: you're right!
-
good god. that it exactly where i want to be (both literally, and in my modeling abilities.)
Can you just breifly explain what you used 3dsmax for in the process?

@ craiger: practice is the answer!
-
new version...is it better?
-
I like both images. The second has alot more life and warth to it. But like the mood of the first image. It really depends on your audience / client. The sand it a big improvement by the way

sorry if the answer was abrupt, I don't speak english very well...the sky is done in photoshop anyway
-
Unfortunately we can't see this beautiful sky on reflections this way. There is a better way...
-
Very nice. Looking forward to seeing more of your renders.
-
Wow.
Fantastic image and great composition.
The water looks amazing, but a little cloudy as mentioned. Minor detail to a wonderful render. -
thanks-
