      Hi I am new to this forum and Sketchup.I have been using Sketchup for about 3 months now and I love it! I came across this plug-in (sketchy physics) and it makes me love it even more!! My problem I need help with is I'm trying to make a nut tighten up on a bolt. I was able to get the nut to turn using the motor but wasn't able to get it to move up the bolt. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

        SketchyPhysics is quite a special plugin and not used by everyone so we made a special subforum for it under "Extensions and Applications..." forum.
        I am moving your topic there and hope all the SP enthusiasts will be able to help.

          I'm quite new with SkechyPhysics, so I could be wrong, but in your model there are at least to problems:
          1- nut is not centered referring to the screwing axis (it can be clearly seen when you click on play)
          2- bold has not a real thread ( ///// ) but a sequence of pararllel discs ( |||||| )

          Try to fix these two bugs and maybe you will solve it at all πŸ˜‰

            I agreed with fanka but there is biggger problem.
            SP recognize your bolt and nut as a "ball" shape, not the way they looks.
            collison area is the problem. search with the word on this board.
            In fact, it is very hard to make a body with complexs and concave shape in SP.
            For example, if you model a car in sketchup, not with sketch physics tools(box,cone..etc),SP recognize it as simple 'box' shape.
