New Housing Estate

Quick b+w renders of an estate I'm working on. Please excuse random tree to the right of the image, I was a bit rushed and made some mistakes!
I'm texturing the model at the moment it's such a big site.
made up of render, line overlay and negative line overlay

Very refreshing massing study, and nice substitution for a clay render. Lots of potential for this. Great stuff.

Changed crap foliage:

wow im impressed im very curious as to how you created the fake clay style, is it purely a 2D output form SU and then some nifty PP or have you rendered it in some clever way and then added some more nifty PP, I would be very interested in using this style for some of my designs!
From what I cam guess you have done a render then overlayed a layer showing visible lines? -
ha tell me about it, its always a bastard when that happens, as a general rule I always quickly highlight and copy my text before I post on any forum or email, its much worse when you have spent a decade writing and you loose it you dont have any willpower to do it all again lol!
Thanks for taking the time to do a tut most appreciated!

i just wrote a huge tutorial but it messed up when i posted it......i wasn't logged in apparently. i spent like 10 minutes writing it
i'll do a step by step tutorial with images...much easier.
the rendering and post process takes less than 15 minutes.

Let me know if you make any images with the style, would be nice to see how they come out!
