Thanks. Lets start that thread!
-
Got it ready.
-
the models are ok but I would work at rounding them out a bit more making the lines flow around the overall shape. It looks like a car you would get in the 80's but keep at it and adding to the small details they will make it stand out.
-
Absolutly agree...I struggle so with curves and smooth shapes
-
you should download some of the plugins and try some easier models rather than a car to perfect your techniques.
-
Hm...Good idea. Think I'm too ambitious?
PS Saw your models--Most impressed.
-
no such thing as too ambitious when modeling dont worry, just practice on smaller less complex models, such a piece of fruit or a violin for example or maybe some furniture. Just learn the basics so you can apply them to your cars then you can perfect your techniques as you go along. My models used to be very boxy before I discovered the plugins available here!

Well, next time I use sketchup i'll try.
-
Yeah, i have tons of plugnis. Most useful for cars: Weld, FredoScale, and Joint Push Pull. I have 2 others: Sketchyphsics and Tools on Surface. Anyway, any new models in the works?
-
Yes. I have all of those...and more. XD
Yes, there's a blender project...Interested?
-
I'd love to hear about it!

An exploding planet with rings of energy expanding around it Very fun. Rendering the animation as we speak. PS Answered your question on the blender thread

A new project. It's a cave-in-a-cliff. I made the cave by making a floor plane (With grid) and smooving a pit in it. Then rotated the whole mesh 90 degrees along green. And then I added the ground. Made it the same way, of course, minus the rotating. Now for some screenshots.
