Hi, I was trying some settings of rendering for this model i made with SU:
      http://sketchup.google.com/3dwarehouse/details?mid=41204f98bad58895e7ca18fd816a11da

The problem is: how to render the candles light and soft shadows produced by this particular source?
      Original Model:

      http://img190.imageshack.us/img190/9827/sketchup.jpg

This is only a little experiment: an HDR image from 5 renderings with different EV, from -2 to +2:

The sources would be 2 great candelabra or chandeliers near the base of goddess statue.. (not present in model)

      -PM Method High AA 0,3...

Suggestions to improve realism? What do you think about? ๐Ÿ˜„

        ๐Ÿ‘ ๐Ÿ‘ ๐Ÿ‘ Great work!
Especially the light sources can take much rendering time. I don't know what to improve, it's perfect. For my models, I sometimes use dirt mapping to make them look old, but that would not fit to this clean marble.

Awsome, great picture. Specially lights and shadows give depth to this space. ๐Ÿ‘

              Thanks to all!! ๐Ÿ˜„
I've added two great braziers from my another model, so the light has some sort of source.

This is a "Monkey" Light Transport (MLT) ๐Ÿ’š :
              MLT rendering

I'm changing the textures for the vault coffers with a different gold decoration:

awsome. the only thing i can think of is to make your lights some yellow some orange (very close together)to give more of a candle lit/shadow effect.

                http://www.Twilightrender.com try it!
