How to batch export (and reduce in size) multiple textures??
-
I could swear that there was a plugin to batch export multiple textures (for editing) instead of manually clicking each one and selecting "export - save", etc.
I basically have some 3D Warehouse models that are huge (10mb) because of bad textures (too big, saved at 100% jpg quality, etc). But the model is composed of MANY small textures...
Batch exporting them all would already help... of course, if there is some method of automatically reducing their size, or at least reimporting them, that would also be cool

Batch export: Twilight's XML button.
Batch reduce in size: Irfanview. -

Yup, it's a commercial rendering plugin, actually. You can also use the free Kerkythea exporter by Tomasz for the same purpose. Just export the model to a folder, and all textures should be written to that folder.

If you save your model as a .3ds file format, I think SketchUp will write out all the included image files, so you can access them all. I puts them in the same place that it puts the .3ds model. Try that,
