    Hi,

i have to apply a texture onto a curved surface (curtain). projection will not work, i need the texture wrapped around.

is there a ruby for this? i searched for it but only found the uv tools.

i'm on su6. has texturing in su7 changed? are there more options now?

We're still waiting for advanced texturing tools. There are currently only 4 solutions: do it by hand, projected textures and two cool features of a plugin.

UV-Tools allows you to use cylindrical and spherical projection.

yes... i'm doing it manually now - but i have more than 1200 faces! - not funny... 😒

better texturing is really badly needed - i don't get it why su7 has got no new tools for this. if google can't do multicore or high poly why not improved texturing tools?!? should be useful for google earth too... 😒
