A cone

I thought I'd let my hair down, and do something frivolous.

-
Nice. I have also (always) wanted to do one. Can I add it to your topic one baked?

-
Nice - that looks a bit Arthur C Clarke? Is it 2001 but in 3D?
-
Csaba - Add whatever you please.
Steve - It's just a cone.

In the meanwhile my image is baking, I realised it's not just putting a model together, adding some background and hdri sky and setting material parameters (however easy and quick these technical details can be) but also - and mainly - there must be some extra (call it "art" if you wish but I am generally not artistic enough even to name it)
Sigh... I won't even let my puny attempt finish - some artefacts left from progressive rendering (100 passes in about 28 minutes)

gaieus: is that a twilight?
nice image, stinkie, whatever it is!!
-
Yeah, it is. Only the sun as light source (and the sky) and a curved background with a light grey colour (never use pure white - it kills render time)
