Is there such a Plugin that will create a shell of a more detailed building. Say I have a building made up of door/window openings, lift overuns etc and I just want a single skin of the whole structure, Is there currently a Plugin for this job?

      Many thanks in advance

Tried the Ghost Comp Plugin, but it seems to giving a very simplified object in-place. Below images showing the kind of thing I mean.

Model before. Made up of different size groups.

Model After. Model left made up of a single light weight skin with no intersecting lines or internal structure. (image bodged in Photoshop to give idea)

            Many thanks again

Tjere's the CADSPan tools that have a couple tools that "skin" amodel for 3D Printing:

              http://www.cadspan.com/tools/

And you may be able to use the STL exporter to do it:

I'd also love to see a good "skinning" plugin. I my case, I need to skin something like this:Murin_small.jpg
