I have tried all day with numerous adjustments, static, static mesh, default, etc. I would like to know how to setup the SP model to block the sliding object from penetrating a wall/barrier. Its slides on somewhat of a rail and then I would like it to basically hit the wall to restrict it from further movement. Is this possible?

You can only have one thing connected to the slider. You have the wall connected to the slider. to disconnect it hold shift instead of Ctrl when you click on it. Also the sliding object is set to no-collision, unset it.

Hey thanks for the reply. I did figure that out in the wee hours of the morning, although in a very round about way.
I have hit another hurdle... I have a lock tab setup which is suppose to hold the spring slider from returning back to the beginning position. Hence holding the spring under tension, when this happens the tab seems to just bend through the surrounding wall, until the spring has slid past it.
Press play in the animation to see clearly what I am rambling about.
