I've scrapped the canard design. It simply didn't fit for the design in terms of funtionality. I've also added a rudimentary set of landing gears.

Good improvement undercarriage does still need work well done

too bad US budget cuts have eliminated the 4th generation of fighters... hope ther is funding for your fighter

Indeed. However I'm finding the aft landing gear particularly difficult to make correctly. I wouldn't mind some suggestions as to how to make them. I do have a design in mind for the front.

Very nice models. They look low poly...? Are you intending to use them in-game? A good source of photos of landing gear is flickr. I got all my resource for my planes from there.
