I can't get rid of old SP

Having manually removed all traces of July 7-07 version of SP from my plugins folder, I attempted to install SP3 using the windows installer. I still have the July 7-07 version, according to the HELP/ABOUT SKETCHY PHYSICS menu item, but now it doesn't function even though I can create floors and shapes. I am using SU7 and Vista home premium. Any ideas?

It may help to go add/remove programs and uninstall sketchyphysics from there, just a guess, though.

Umm, apparently(from my experience) SP3 and later requires the earl version of SP
