Silvershadow's Eye Candy 3 - H.M.C.S SNOWBERRY
-
Jacques, what can I say that has not already been mentioned? I do not know how you do it, I just do not have the temperament, patience and passions you have.
What an amazingly detailed model, crazy amounts of detail in fact. You are the man as mentioned many times, did you know that folks like you either end up as renowned artists or in asylums?, glad you are the former.Well done once again in creating an awe inspiring work and setting the bar beyond anything I will ever achieve, or even attempt for that matter.
As for the next one, it won't be long until the bug bites and you start it all again, it's in your blood,it's what you do.
Thanks for sharing.

PS If you want to see another crazzy guy like SilverShadow see the French guy Lemog
(not in SU but for Eye Candy -
silver: astounding. I do not know what is more impressive, your work or your commitment to it. They are both inspiring and I congratulate you on some of the best work I have seen in SU.
-
astounding! i'm in awe! i agree with the textures/poly count thing, ive done very detailed models, and they're much faster than crappy ones with a few textures.
but google never listen
again, brilliant work

This is incredible! What plugins did you use? How did you make all the ropes and fabrics? Did you use sketchyphysics to position the chains, or was it all manually?
Sorry I'm asking so many questions, but this is probably the greatest sketchup model I've ever seen. -
The chains and fabric are modeled by hand. The chains were placed bit by bit to create the right curve.
The cables / ropes were made with tube along path rubie by TIG, awesome rubie, and the fabric on the hedgehog was made with Chris Fullmer ' s simple loft tool. No sketchy physics were used in this production. -
Why cant I do that?
Seriously the best model I have ever seen. I think Google should awarded you a free lifetime upgrade to SU pro! This shows the true capabilities of SU.Well done and I bet your dad loves it!
cheers..

What is in your everyday diet..... bread and engineering???
Incredibly perfect -
What a beautiful thing to wake up to. The story behind the intention was very heart warming. Wonderful modeling Jacques! Will you eventually try to texture or paint the model....perhaps in Modo or Max?
-
Dude! Way over the top. There are no adequate superlatives for this level of work. Flamtingletabulous doesn't even come close...
-
Beautiful work indeed.

The water, and it's texture, was a lesson on it's own. This model is absolutely fantastic, in an incomprehensible sense.
Sketchup does not deserve the stigma it has among the pros, and this proves it. -
Sick!
And terribly awesome! How the hell did you manage the polycount?
-
