Random renders (updated)

Thanks.
Well as far as tutorials go, I'm probably going to do a series of SU to Vue tutorials and creating ecosystems for 'Geek at play' Vladimir asked me a few months back and I will get to it as soon as the silly season ends.
-
Wow that looks great. Good Luck on the Tutorials
-
Love it Pete...

woohoo, this is really nice, solo!
not only that it is great rendering and modeling, i also like how the colors fit together (great sky) and the whole composition itself - very good job!
the only thing i would admit myself to criticize is the wall in front of the building - no chance of displacement? maybe some post work in photoshop? that would make it perfect for me, i guess.ng
-
Took care of it, thanks, I'm slipping.
-
Oh shit, that looks good !
Vue is your tool Pete!
-
Dang Kwist, you took my expletive.
Great image Pete. Wow.
-
Nice render Pete!
Just started having fun with Vue 5 and I'm amazed how easy it is to make natural enviroments only in minutes. And Vue really works great hand in hand with SketchUp.
I'm definitely looking forward for your tutorials. But are there already any SU to Vue related tutorials around or maybe something useful for material editing? -
W O W............Incredible....

This is a really cool render, Really loves it. I really want to get into Vue and i think i am going to bug you more and more. I have tried Vue a couple of times, but do not get it as good as you are getting it. Really good work Pete. That i7 is working overtime again hee hee. Always great to see your artwork.

I think this is one of your best shots, Pete - and that's saying a lot!

Thanks guys!!
It's funny how some folk see things so differently, to me it's an okay render, but here and the Cornucopia forum it got rave reviews, it was even selected for picture of the day at e-on's site: http://www.e-onsoftware.com/showcase/?page=11&Index=3493
Anyway, here is another random render, this time the render is part of a tutorial, I'm sure a few older members remember this model, as I have rendered it in my early Vue days (the home models were done by Tomsdesk), I thought with a stronger machine and learned skills I can give it more justice as well as being a good scene for a tutorial on exterior radiosity.

That's amazing!
-
Excellent render as usual...I love the manhole cover detail. Could you post a link to the tutorial you mentioned?
-
Another random Render, this model was from Pepe at 3DWH, I liked the texturing. anyway composed in Vue.
It was also selected for the picture of the day today on the e-on site.

I hope you are getting paid for all this!!
Beautiful work...you have a very distinct style. i love it needless to say
