3D Warehouse Explorer V 1.2
-
I cant imagine google will have any issues with this, but i am curious as to what advantages your 3d warehouse explorer offers over using a web browser.
-
Well, usually to check out the 3D Warehouse you have to open your Web Browser (Firefox, Opera, Chrome, IE...), type "3d warehouse" and type the names; with 3D Warehouse Explorer you have it handy, just open it and type the names. Also I am planning (maybe for the next version) to make a marker system or direct links to the most popular modelers, sort by date, popularity, name...
-
that sounds pretty cool
Would it be possible to open it from within SU? it could make a very nice alternative to the component browser (especially for finding components in the first place.)
-
Thanks...
And I would need a ruby writer's help, but it would be possible. Good idea!

Thank you, I hope you enjoy this program (I am working on the next version). I can't get it this week though (lots of exams).
-
YAY i got it now
-
-
One thing though, I can't see the how many stars the models are rated. I can see the stars on internet browsers but not on your 3d warehouse explorer or on the warehouse explorer thats in sketchup. Is there a way to fix that.
Or maybe there's problem with my PC.
-
It has to be your PC (it works fine for Wacov, Mr Planet and Sketchosaurus, but not for me!). I'll try to fix it, but I don't know what could be the problem, it is strange.
-
I know now it's not your fault because IE8 doesn't show the stars either. Chrome and firefox do show them.
-
I know, it may be SP3's fault. I am sorry if it doesn't work
-
Oh Well it doesn't really matter You did a good job
-
Thank you!
-
Could you make another explorer, where the default page is the latest sketchyphysics models page?
-
Of course I can, but I won't: WHY!?
Because the next version will have a SketchyPhysics option (what you want in the same explorer).
Thanks for the idea! -
I am here to post the new version of the 3D Warehouse Explorer (1.2)!
This version looks much better, it has some new functions (Credits, help, Sort by, Search the latest SP models (requested by PhysicsGuy)...)
Hope you like it!
-
Thanks. But it is better you have just one post ( write the update into the thread title.)
-
Great!

Sorry, I don't know how, I will next time. Anyway I think it is better to post two posts if people wants to check out the Version 1.0
